His main area of expertise lies in the small to medium sized classic sailing craft and runabouts. Ken truly has an undying love for vintage wooden watercraft, which is clearly reflected in his attention to detail.

Arnoud Braat: Master craftsman, boatbuilder and finisher. Prior to his employment at Woodwind Yachts, Arnoud accumulated 14 years experience in an array of custom fine woodworking. Arnoud has been employed with Woodwind Yachts for over 12 years now, and following a few years away, we are happy he has rejoined our crew in 2015. Combined with his knowledge and exacting standards, he brings a positive, productive attitude to work each day.

Luke Morgan : Master craftsman, boatbuilder and finisher. Prior to his employment here, Luke was building and installing elaborate wooden interiors in 34' to 44' luxury yachts. Luke is a quiet, conscientious, detail oriented woodworker and finisher. He is a valuable member of our crew who is extremely pleasant to work with.

Steve Kitchen : Master craftsman. Steve's original woodworking training was in cabinet making and furniture building. He was employed at Woodwind Yachts for several years, left to pursue cabinet design and building, and has fortunately returned to us favoring the challenge of wooden boat restoration. Steve is very detail oriented, and brings positive energy along with his sharp sense of humour to work each and every day.

John Curl : Craftsman and master finisher. John joined us in 2011 and is the newest member of our crew. He has become one of the master finishers at Woodwind Yachts and is responsible for keeping the shop extremely organized. He is very personable, reliable, detail oriented and brings a positive attitude along with a good sense of humour to work each day. His mechanical and problem solving knowledge is valuable here.

Connie Marion: Administrative assistant. Connie is extremely knowledgeable, efficient and capable of handling all office duties associated with running a small business. She and her husband have successfully run their own small business for over 30 years. She has been with us, 3 days a week, for over 10 years, and goes about her work with a positive, cheerful attitude.

With our combined talents, vast knowledge and experience in all types of wooden boat construction and restoration, the crew at Woodwind Yachts feel confident we can provide our customers with an outstanding wooden watercraft (be it new or restored) that will satisfy even the most discriminating yachtsman. Collectively, we have built or restored almost three hundred fine wooden boats from canoes, daysailers, Folkboats, Dragons and Metre boats to beautiful mahogany runabouts and launches, cedarstrips and cabin cruisers.
